One issue. One moment. One newspaper.
I’m currently obsessed with analog newspaper collage. I build images using hand cut newsprint text and photographs weaving my smaller moments into visual political discourse. Each piece takes on one issue, from one day, with only a single newspaper. My life becomes a softer lens, filtering the loudest debates of the moment, focused where two things can be true. The weight of the written word, dismantled and repurposed, merges current events with more intimate experience.
